THOR The God Of Thunder

Before the Cap, here it came the other marvel superheroes. You won't like him when he's angry, or maybe you will! A new picture from the upcoming "Thor" feature film surfaced online today in support of Entertainment Weekly's 2011 Preview issue, showing the God of Thunder apparently about to rain down some serious hurt.

Slated for an April 23 release and directed by Kenneth Branagh, "Thor" stars Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Chris Hemsworth in the titular role as Thor.

Based on the Marvel Comic, Odin decides to teach his arrogant son a lesson and banishes Thor to Earth in order to learn humility. Along with Portman, Hiddleston and Hemsworth, the rest of the cast includes Sir Anthony Hopkins, Rene Russo, Stellan Skarsgard, Jaime Alexander, Ray Stevenson and Kat Dennings. The film ties into events from the end of "Iron Man 2" and leads up to the impending "Avengers" film written and directed by Joss Whedon.
