NEW FROM SPIDER-MAN 4

This is the new "rumors" from the production of the Spiderman$ movie that will launch in the next year. Spider-Man fans will remember Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors) as a supervillain who appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (November 1963). Dr. Curt Connors, played Dylan Baker, appears in Spider-Man 2 and 3 but he never becomes Lizard.

In a pursuit to grow back an arm he lost during war, Dr. Connors, a gifted surgeon, studied reptilian limb regeneration and reptilian biology and ingested a formula. While he did grow back his arm , he also transformed into a reptilian humanoid monster (as what happens in comic books). He is saved by Spider-Man when Spidey is able to use Conners' notes and create an antidote to reverse the formula he had taken.

Of course, the antidote's powers are only temporary and Lizard and Spider-Man become enemies.

So what do you think of Spidey, played by Andrew Garfield, battling Lizard? Disappointed that Venom was not picked at the villain?

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Garfield alongside Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Denis Leary as Police Captain George Stacy, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben; and Sally Field as Aunt May.
